This is an act of faith for me. I am stepping out into unfamiliar territory, not sure what’s ahead or where this path will lead. But, detours and all, I’m looking forward to the journey.

But that’s what faith is about, isn’t it? It is about moving forward in life with a belief that allows one to act or not act beyond one’s own limited understanding or abilities.
As a journalist for more than 30 years, I placed a lot of trust in facts, but I also learned that facts alone don’t tell the whole story.

As a wife and mother, my faith, even at its weakest, made a big difference in my home. For me, a faith-filled life anchored in a sovereign God is an adventurous and exciting one: so much to discover, so much unchartered territory to traverse.

Follow them, cheer them, give them some sisterly advice or join in the challenge as they try to trim their waists over the next 6 months.

We all are searching for that inner peace that comes with knowing Someone is watching over us - whatever our religion.
